The EIR program has been conceived to inspire the best talent to be entrepreneurs by supporting them with mentorship, access to office space and guidance. It also offers fellowship amount ranging from Rs 10,000/- to Rs 30,000/- per month for a year to minimize the risk involved in pursuing start-ups, and to partially set off their opportunity costs of salaries. The program has been introduced by NSTEDB, Govt. of India.
They should be a citizen of India.
They should have completed their undergraduate/post graduate education in Science or
Engineering fields.
Final year students are NOT eligible to apply.
They are expected to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations full time and should not treat it
as a stop gap arrangement or as a support in academic pursuits or transition between jobs.
They should demonstrate their ability to build a scalable technology business startup.
